Coming across a blog post that starts
prompted me to comment.
After I responded to the post, describing some options (and explaining that the Domino Administrator and/or corporate policies may not allow accessing Notes mail on an iPhone), I was asked for some sites/links that would assist the user with basic Lotus Notes 8.5 information; tips, tricks, and "Lotus Notes 101.". Some of my Twitter followers were very helpful with links, in addition to one that I use quite a bit. Here are some of the ones that I recommended:
MediCorp Health Systems' Lotus Notes and Quickr Cheat Sheets. Excellent resource.
Learning Plug-in for Lotus Notes. A sidebar plug-in that provides easy access to Lotus Notes training materials.
Lotus Notes 8.x Tips Blog.
And, of course, PlanetLotus.
Perhaps I should get out of the mindset that "Lotus Notes 101" should be a PDF with screen shots and the like, and start thinking Web 2.0 and point people to wikis. Which would then allow them to discover the Learning Lotus Notes Clients start page. However, being "old school," I really like MediCorp's Lotus Notes Cheat Sheets.
