Well, at least high stress levels.
Travis Hudson, writing for PC World, reports on an article in the New York Times that reveals that:
Blogging may join the ranks of coal mining and Alaskan crab fishing as one of the most dangerous jobs, according to a recent report from the New York Times.
and that:
Some bloggers have seen the stress that comes alongside blogging to have a substantial health effect. The New York Times notes three whose stress may have contributed to heart attacks: tech blogger Russell Shaw, 60, and Marc Orchant, 50, who died recently. Om Malik, a well-known tech blogger, survived a heart attack as well. He is only 41.
C'mon people, relax. Getting to be the first to have your post on a particular news item show up on Planet Lotus isn't worth a trip to Intensive Care. :-)

That is just nuts! I guess everyone blogs for different reasons. I actually enjoy sharing information and its not a priority for me "to be the first".

Gregg!
I can't believe that you beat me too this post, I mean I had it written, stayed up all night writing it at the expense of my family's attention, and you made the post before me! I...I..am beyond words....my is the entire side of my body going numb...
I'm with Bob. Blogging (at least for me) is suppose to be fun and at the same time a group activity. Share what you want, write what you want, but like everything else in the world these days is taken to the extreme.
