Missed that Derek Trucks concert at Cheshire County Fairgrounds on July 18, 2004? Couldn't make it to Grateful Dead at Soldier Field on July 8, 1995? Those, and much. much more, are available to you at the Live Music Archive.
And from what I can tell - - they are all free downloads.

Yes, all free. I've used the site often. There was an uproar from the Deadheads when some members of the band cried foul on the soundboard recordings and removed them. I believe Bob Weir was the one who started it. Now they stream the soundboard recordings and the audience recordings can be downloaded. Funny you mention Derek Trucks. He's coming to my small city in May. I'd like to see my wife go with me but she's not into it. I may beg her to go to the Newport Jazz Festival because Allman Brothers are playing this year.
Rock on!

@Curt - you amaze me! Derek Trucks? Very impressive! A friend at work turned me on to him, and with a couple of CDs and Sirius 17, I am a pretty happy Trucks fan. You HAVE to get your wife up to the Newport Jazz Fest, if nothing else, to get her to witness Derek. The guy is amazing (and his wife is no slouch, either).

@Gregg,
I'm a huge Allman Brothers fan first. Wasn't much of a stretch to dig Derek Trucks. I'd recommend the Beacon Theatre DVD with the Allman Brothers if your into Derek. Warren Haynes of Allman Brother fame is a fave of mine too. If you haven't already, check out Warren's band Gov't Mule.
I mentioned the Jazz Fest to my wife and she just laughed at me. When I was at Lotusphere, I discovered one of my Notes admins was into the same music. We went to Robert Cray in FL and we went to Bob Weir's band RatDog in Springfield, MA last month. Hopefully, I can hook up with him this summer to check out some shows.
Rock on!
