One of the problems with Lotusphere is what happens after IBM takes the tents down.
Very little.
For a week, I was consuming tons of feeds, podcasts every evening, Flickr pictures everywhere. It is a great time to be in the Lotus world.
And then there is silence afterwards, as people decompress, make sense of what they just experienced, get over the travel/'Sphere sickness, and reacquaint themselves with the working world.
Finally, Bruce and Julian have released a new podcast. Episode 53 features Thomas Gumz, "The Father of the Domino Administrator Client." Of course, I found this one full of great information, as an Admin. However, you developers ought to take a listen as well; Thomas talks about using Domino 8 as an Eclipse Update Server. As a developer, you will provision Eclipse clients with new features and plug-ins, store them on an Eclipse Update Site, and the Update Server downloads and installs them on the clients. He also reviews some features that you will want to talk to your Administrator to have implemented. Remember, we are all in this together. You developers need to know this stuff, too. Besides, it will help you all to sell Domino in your organization. :-)
Another excellent podcast from Bruce and Julian.
