So, up until the other day, I haven't blogged in weeks. Now, while I'm waiting for some IBM Lotus code to come down from Passport Advantage so that I can do some remote Notes installs, I am doing a little catching up. The easy stuff. If you saw my pile of books that need to be reviewed, you'd realize that I have a blog post a day for at least the next month.
Let's look at a new (November 2) resource for those implementing a Lotus Traveler environment, Lotus Notes Traveler Deployment Cookbook.
As a "cookbook" it's lacking. Oh, sure there's some links to existing TechNotes and wiki articles. However there are only three published articles, one of which is just a page with more links and resources.
I have a recommendation for a really useful cookbook - Send an IBMer to this and then publish some really amazing stuff. Stuff you might find in a earlier cookbook, like any one of these. Or this. Those references are what I was expecting when I looked at the Lotus Notes Traveler Deployment Cookbook.

This cookbook serves as a deployment guide for Domino administrators so that they can help your organization get the most from a no-fuss installation of Notes Traveler. It provides information on what administrators must know before they begin deploying Notes Traveler, and then best practice guidance for a successful deployment.
