I read the article, but I am not convinced at all. It is stopped on the very questionable, and not mind that the Domino platform, but there is not much else. Of course, do not have convincing arguments .. and my impression is that with version 2010, have copied a little from Domino.

Microsoft Exchange 2010 furthers customers’ ability to choose cheaper, faster storage types including DAS, SATA and JBOD. IBM provides Domino attachment object store (DAOS, but are unable to provide customers a true range of storage options to reduce costs.
How do these compare??? DAS/SATA against DAOS?????
