One Reason to Upgrade Traveler to 8.5.2.2: Android SSL users cannot install Traveler or synch with Traveler03/14/2011 10:45:33 PM
Location : Cleveland, OH
APAR LO57088 has been identified which prevents the Lotus Mobile Installer (LMI) or Lotus Notes Traveler from communicating with a Traveler server that is secured with a certificate containing a special character in the Subject field. This affect the Google Android device.
The Android client is using the subject field in the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate in an incorrect way, causing install and sync to fail if the site is secured with some SSL certificates.
Cause
Some SSL certificates contain a forward slash (/) in the OU part of the subject field in the SSL certificate. This causes an exception error in Android when both installing and synching.
