My friend, Dan, is working in Antarctica again this year. He is an air traffic controller, helping to land the aircraft (planes and helicopters) on, literally, an ice runway.





I think that he told me that internet connectivity isn't as good as it was last year (budget cuts?), so I don't think that he is blogging his adventures. But at least he found time to post some pictures.
