Last year we saw one of these for the first time. We were really puzzled because we get lots of hummingbirds but this one was buzzing around at dusk. Myron is a hardcore birder and pored over his books and did some online searching before finally coming up with the hummingbird moth. They're pretty freaking cool.

@Charles and @Carl: I had no idea that such a thing existed. I was lucky that I was able to film it (as poor as it was) and that it stayed around the flowers for as long as it did.
