Frankly, I am still on the fence about attending Admin2008. But the latest e-mail from them is making me want to attend:
Six New Sessions:
- Achieving "Peaceful" Coexistence Between Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Notes
- Creating Domino Applications that are Compliant with Web 2.0
- Giving Your Users the Complete Notes 8 Upgrade Experience
- Increasing the Level of Disk Performance on your Domino Server
- Design Directions for Lotus Notes, Sametime, and Expeditor
- Enhancing your Applications with Domino Designer 8.5
Birds-of-a-Feather Discussion Sessions:
- Sending a Message to Management: How to Keep Lotus Notes and Domino in Your Company – moderated by Ed Brill
- Mobilizing Domino Applications – moderated by Jennifer Meade from Relavis Corporation
Jess and Ed will be there.
Ed is facilitating a great BoF and Jess . . . well, you owe it to yourself to attend any of her sessions, anywhere she is presenting. It's her presentation skills, confidence, and rapport with the audience that amazes me. Oh, yes, the content, too. As an added bonus, not listed on web site, is the chance to meet Zöe. :-)

I too will be attending the event this year. I was able to sell it to management as a training session compared to a conference. If the Domino Upgrade seminar information is as good as the one that they produced for R6 is, it will be well worth the time and money. That R6 one saved my butt big time! And that's a big bu.....well, you get the point

Gregg, you just made my entire year. Thank you SO much for the kind words, that means so much to me!! I hope you can make it this year, it would be awesome to see you again!
My session is "Giving Your Users the Complete Notes 8 Upgrade Experience".
I went to the Admin conferences as an attendee before a speaker, and now I still go and attend sessions even when I'm not speaking. The conference is second to none, IMHO. It's a nice intimate setting, and content, content, content. Andy hits the nail on the head when he said to think of it as a training session rather than a conference.
And the conference CD is fantastic, which is actually an NSF containing all the presentations and supporting materials, so you can just put the NSF of all the years on your computer an access it whenever you need it.
