There certainly seems to be a ground swell of interest with Web 2.0 and Lotus Notes and Domino. I like it.
The latest news comes from DominoPower.com. In the article entitled "Lotusphere and social computing: taking action," the author starts out by telling you that now it is all about the user. But then, after the link to the second page, he jumps into wikis. What is the lead paragraph?
Take wikis like DominoWiki as an example: the technical part is not all that new. We have probably all worked at one time on some sort of teamrooms or discussion databases. However, it is all about the idea and the way wikis are used.
As you can tell, I loved the reference to DominoWiki. :-)
The article is very positive about the road that IBM is taking as well as showing where Web 2.0 plays in the Domino space. Of course, that may have something to do with the authors credentials. However, he does show you some other tricks that Domino can do - AJAX, for instance.
