It has been reported on some web sites and newsletters that there are some vulnerabilities in the Domino server code, prior to R6.5.4. All of these sites and newsletters tell you about it, but none, that I have found, tell you what to do. If there are some that actually HELP, please let me know. In the meantime, the Lotus Support Site can help mitigate these issues. A quick search on 'vulnerability,' brings back a few hits (note, it helps to sort the results by date). What is out there? After getting all worked up at "all the security holes in Domino," IBM helps you with these:
iDEFENSE DoS on Domino Web Server
Java Applets Security Vulnerability
DoS in Notes Client
Domino HTTP Header Injection
DoS During Notes Authentication
Buffer Overruns Causing Domino Server to Crash
It's good to see that others are testing Domino, but be sure to head over to Lotus' site to check out if this is really an issue or not, and, more importantly, HOW to fix it.
