As you may be aware, Domino 7.0.2 provides an RSS Feed Generator. Bruce has done a wonderful job of demonstrating this tool.
Now, you can add RSS feeds to Sametime. In a new article on developerWorks:Lotus, IBM demonstrates adding an RSS feed to the Sametime Connect 7.5 client. While the demo uses data from the Australian Open Tennis Championships, you can extend this demo to any RSS feed. Who would have thought that "Instant Messaging" would/could include RSS? Cool.

@Mac - I would be very curious as to a rough number of attendees at your session. RSS has some excellent business applications, both within and outside of an organization. I just hope that people will understand that. Besides, you have the perfect audience for a topic like this ("'Sphere-ians"). The whole RSS topic jazzes me!
