I got a Help Desk Ticket routed to me today (that isn't unusual), concerning a user that couldn't see the pictures in his e-mail. This is what the ticket said (in part and emphasis mine):
The links in the e-mail are okay, but he doesn't want to go to the links. He says the pictures explain what he needs, he doesn't want to have to read.
I was shocked, SHOCKED, to find out that some people don't want to read e-mail, they just want pretty pictures.
How did I solve this? Edit the Location Document. Go to the Internet Browser tab. Change the Internet Browser to another choice. Save and close the document. He can now see the pictures in his e-mail. I then had him go back and change it back. It's working.
Sanity has been restored.
